These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ReRouted website at rerouted.gg, the ReRouted desktop optimizer application, the ReRouted proxy and routing services, and any related software, content, and features (together, the "Services"). The Services are operated by Brendan Boyd, doing business as ReRouted ("ReRouted", "we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, downloading the optimizer, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if higher, to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Services with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Services you represent that you meet these requirements and that any information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
Some features require an account, which you create by signing in through a supported third-party provider. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Notify us promptly at support@rerouted.gg if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. The Optimizer
The ReRouted optimizer is a desktop application that adjusts system and network settings on your device to reduce latency and improve connection stability across supported games.
- We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the optimizer on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
- The optimizer requires elevated (administrator) permissions to apply certain changes. You authorize it to read and modify the relevant system and network configuration on your device when you apply a profile.
- You may revert changes at any time using the optimizer's reset feature. We recommend creating a system restore point before applying changes.
- Results vary by hardware, operating system, network conditions, distance to game servers, and other factors outside our control. We do not guarantee any specific reduction in latency, packet loss, or jitter.
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, resell, or tamper with the optimizer except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
4. The Proxy and routing services
The ReRouted proxy and routing services route your game and network traffic through our infrastructure to improve path quality and stability.
- Access to the proxy services requires an active plan and is for your personal use only.
- You may not share, resell, sublicense, or provide access to the proxy services to third parties.
- Performance depends on factors outside our control, including your local connection and the destination network. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, specific speeds, or specific routing outcomes.
- Your use of the proxy services must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Misuse may result in immediate suspension without refund.
5. Plans, billing, and renewals
- Paid Services are offered on subscription and/or one-time purchase plans. Current pricing and features are shown at checkout.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe and PayPal). By purchasing, you authorize the applicable provider and us to charge your selected payment method.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period.
- We may change prices or plan features. For subscriptions, we will give reasonable advance notice of price changes, and changes take effect on your next renewal. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
- You are responsible for any taxes associated with your purchase that are not collected by us.
6. Free trials
We may offer free trials. Unless stated otherwise, a trial gives temporary access to specific features and ends automatically. We may limit trials to one per user, device, or household, and we may use device and network identifiers to enforce this. If you do not cancel before a trial converts to a paid plan, you authorize the applicable charge.
7. Refunds and cancellation
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Acceptable use
Your use of the Services is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account and through any traffic you route via the Services.
9. Intellectual property
The Services, including the optimizer software, website, branding, the ReRouted name and logo, and all related content, are owned by ReRouted or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or branding. Game names and trademarks referenced on the Services belong to their respective owners; ReRouted is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher unless expressly stated.
10. Third-party services
The Services rely on and integrate with third-party services, including authentication providers, payment processors, and infrastructure providers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THEY WILL IMPROVE PERFORMANCE FOR ANY PARTICULAR GAME, DEVICE, OR CONNECTION.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REROUTED AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR FOR DAMAGE TO ANY DEVICE OR SYSTEM, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReRouted from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Services or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts located in the State of Delaware, United States have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, except where prohibited by applicable law.
