This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the ReRouted optimizer, proxy and routing services, and website (the "Services"). It is part of our Terms of Service. You are responsible for all activity on your account and for all traffic you route through the Services. If you are unsure whether a use is permitted, contact support@rerouted.gg before proceeding.
Prohibited activities
You may not use the Services to:
- Break the law. Engage in, facilitate, or promote any illegal activity, or transmit any content or traffic that is unlawful in your jurisdiction or the destination jurisdiction.
- Attack or disrupt networks. Launch or participate in denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, flooding, amplification, port scanning, intrusion attempts, credential stuffing, or any activity intended to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to any system, service, or network.
- Distribute malicious code. Transmit malware, ransomware, spyware, or other harmful code, or operate botnet command-and-control or similar infrastructure.
- Commit fraud or abuse. Engage in fraud, phishing, identity theft, payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or the creation of accounts or use of trials through deception or automation to evade limits.
- Infringe rights. Violate the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others, including unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material.
- Send spam. Send unsolicited bulk messages or operate spam or mass-messaging operations.
- Harm others. Harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person, or transmit content that exploits or endangers minors.
- Evade lawful restrictions. Use the Services to circumvent sanctions, export controls, or other legal restrictions, or to conceal activity from law enforcement in connection with unlawful conduct.
- Abuse third-party services. Use the Services in a way that violates the terms of any game, platform, or network you connect to, where doing so is unlawful or exposes ReRouted to liability. ReRouted optimizes connection quality; it is not a tool for cheating, exploiting, or gaining an unfair in-game advantage through prohibited means.
- Resell or overload. Resell, sublicense, or share access to the Services, or place an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure relative to your plan.
- Tamper. Reverse engineer, interfere with, probe, or attempt to bypass the security, licensing, or rate-limiting of the Services, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.
Fair use
Plans are intended for personal use. We may apply reasonable technical limits to protect service quality for all users, and we may throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that place an excessive or abusive load on the Services.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle or suspend access, or terminate accounts, with or without notice, depending on severity. Serious or illegal violations may be reported to the appropriate authorities. Suspension or termination for an AUP violation does not entitle you to a refund.
